Hello! My name is Heather, and I’m a writer who has specialized in personal injury law since 2020. While my initial transition to personal injury law from a decade-long career in veterinary medicine at the height of the COVID pandemic was terrifying, to say the least, I quickly remembered why I pursued a degree in English writing and rhetoric in the first place, and I finally felt as though I was putting my skills to good use. I pride myself on my ability to help others in a tangible way through my writing.
In my spare time, I enjoy lifting heavy things at my CrossFit gym, traveling as much as possible, trying new foods, attempting to cook, dabbling in home improvement projects, fostering animals for rescue organizations, and visiting local wineries in beautiful Charlottesville, Virginia, where I live with my husband, Nate, our two dogs, Abigail and Henry, our two cats, Blooper and Maus.
